By Artist Jo Myers-Walker

Exhibit Opens Friday, May 4 during Art Walk Evening

Main Gallery at the FA&CC

This award winning artist is currently the President of the Iowa Watercolor Society and was a featured artist on KCCI TV in Des Moines this spring. She refers to her “Left Bank Studio” in Gilbert, Iowa, as a creative oasis for the cultural traveler and a retreat house. Jo offers a variety of classes in her studio and is preparing to instruct a workshop in Fairfield at the end of June. (more details to come!)

An accomplished artist in a multitude of art mediums – from wood, clay, paper making, and mixed media, Jo’s favorite is watercolor. Always exploring something new, Jo has turned to creating unusual slumped acrylic sculptures and more recently designs on fabric.

The FAA exhibit will include her wonderful vibrant works in watercolor and sculpture. Don’t miss seeing her poetic, figurative and whimsical show.
