FRIDAY APRIL 4 during Art Walk
and regular Open Hours – Tuesday – Friday from 1 – 5 PM
Come see our remodeled Sales Gallery!!!!
A complete remodel has taken place in the studio/sales area where close to 50 FAA members/artists exhibit and sell their art. Permanent and moveable walls up to 10 feet tall have replaced the old wire display racks and offer a more professional display space. Construction was by Lou Bolster and partially paid for with a grant from the Greater Jefferson County Foundation. Monks cloth covers the plywood walls, enabling them to be nailed into repeatedly without showing nail holes – this is a system originally used when the FAA opened its gallery 48 years ago in the Carnegie Building.
During the remodel process, inventory has changed with many new art works and several new artists associated with the sales gallery. A “Fairfield” section is defined with local scenes and related art, from photographs, prints, pottery, cards, and books & CDs. You will find lots of jewelry, pottery, sculpture, pastel, watercolor, oil, acrylic, gourds, wood, fiber and more, all from the Fairfield area’s most talented artists.
