Cost: $100 (We offer reduced prices of 90$ FAA Members, 80$ for students)

Overview: This workshop is a hands-on introduction to relief printing. I’ve designed it to be a relaxed, creative series where beginners with no prior experience can learn the linocut print-making technique and walk away with your own handmade prints and tote!
Printmaking workshope with Anna Maistri
October 15 – The First Stamp. We’ll start with the basics—how to use the tools safely and get a feel for the material. Everyone will carve small block and print their first simple stamp on paper.
October 22 – Details & Cards. We’ll dive a bit deeper into finer lines and more intricate designs. The goal is for everyone to carve small linoblock and print their first custom postcard.
October 29 – Big block. For this session, we will be ready to carve a large 4x6in block. It will serve as the base for printing on postcards and a tote bag.
November 5 – Patterns & Fabric. For the finale, we’ll learn how to make repeating patterns and use fabric-specific inks to print a one-of-a-kind cotton tote bag.

All materials will be provided for this workshop, and participants are invited to bring your own ideas or reference photos to inform designs and prints!
