Bookmaking, Card-making, and Paper Engineering Techniques with artist Alicia Carradus

TUESDAYS, APRIL 10 – JUNE 19 at 6-8 PM in FAA Studio at FA&CC

AGES: Middle School – Adult

11 SESSIONS: Attend Individual Classes and create unique three dimensional and/or moving cards OR attend several classes to combine techniques into a finished photo album or artbook.

April 10:   90 degree fold and fractals

April 17:  45 degree fold and fractals

April 24:  accordion book

May 1:  tunnel book

May 8: blooming flower and spiral

May 15: fold mechanisms

May 22:  rotary mechanisms

May 29:  pull-tabs

June 5:  pulley mechanisms

June 12:  pyramid and geometric solids

June 19:  binding it all together

Participants wanting to create a photo album and/or greeting cards with photos will need to bring 1-3 photos (to cut) to each session (except the last session). Photo album participants may want to work with a photo theme such as a person, group, year or an event.

Participants creating artbooks and/or greeting cards may want to bring images such as drawings, pictures from books and magazines, or photos.

Bring your scrapbooking supplies and/or favorite art mediums (pastels and paint not recommended).

Sufficient supplies will also be available. Class fee: $12 for members and $15 non-members per class.

Please pre-register as there will be maximum and minimum students per class.
