A nearly life size topiary rhinoceros, Beatrix, created by Brian Messer is located on the lawn of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. It was constructed with a wood base, plastic tub for filler, then layered with sphagum moss and shaped with chicken wire. It is planted with 7 flats of Vinca flower in shades of pinks, lavender, red & white. She loves water! Come see her when you are the FA&CC.
