Summer 2018 Downtown Art Installation



 Fairfield Art Association’s 2018 summer art installation – “SQUARES AROUND HE SQUARE”  created by artists & fine craftsman are being placed in different downtown garden nodes for public viewing & enjoyment.

The project will enhance Fairfield tourism and promote local artists/craftsmen.  This exhibit opened on June 1 and will remain on display through the summer.


There are fourteen different entries,  including a few that were created by multiple individuals for a total 21 participants. The Square art works are placed in the garden nodes around the Fairfield square and up Main Street to the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, and makes for a nice evening walk.

Squares Around the Square



The “Squares Around the Square” exhibit will remain in place throughout the summer until September 7 for the public and community visitors to enjoy.


A silent auction of all the entries 

is August 3   

through  September 7

The auction proceeds will be divided between the artist and the FAA.
